Associate (current SHRM member) (Free) Subscription period: 1 year Automatic renewal: no Individuals with a current SHRM membership in non-exempt human resource management positions, as well as those who do not meet any of the foregoing categories, but have a bonafide interest in human resource management. Associate Members do not have voting rights and may not hold office in the Society.

Associate (non-SHRM member) ($160.00 (USD)) Subscription period: Unlimited Individuals who are not currently a SHRM member in non-exempt human resource management positions, as well as those who do not meet any of the foregoing categories, but have a bonafide interest in human resource management. Associate Members do not have voting rights and may not hold office in the Society. By choosing this membership level, you will automatically become a national SHRM member.

General (current SHRM member) (Free) Subscription period: 1 year Automatic renewal: no Individuals with a current SHRM membership engaged in human resource management at the exempt level, but do not meet the requirements for Professional Member. General Members have voting rights, but may not hold office in the Society.

General (non-SHRM member) ($160.00 (USD)) Subscription period: Unlimited Individuals who are not currently a SHRM member engaged in human resource management at the exempt level, but do not meet the requirements for Professional Member. General Members have voting rights, but may not hold office in the Society. By choosing this membership level, you will automatically become a national SHRM member.

Professional (current SHRM member) (Free) Subscription period: 1 year Automatic renewal: no Individuals with a current SHRM membership engaged in human resources management with at least three years of experience at the exempt level; or any individual certified by the Human Resources Certification Institute; or any faculty member with three or more years experience holding at least assistant professional rank in HR, or full-time consultants with at least three years experience as an HR practitioner; or full-time attorneys with at least three years experience in counseling and advising clients on matters relating to the HR profession. Professional Members have voting rights and may hold office in the Society.

Professional (non-SHRM member) ($160.00 (USD)) Subscription period: Unlimited Individuals who are not currently a SHRM member engaged in human resources management with at least three years of experience at the exempt level; or any individual certified by the Human Resources Certification Institute; or any faculty member with three or more years experience holding at least assistant professional rank in HR, or full-time consultants with at least three years experience as an HR practitioner; or full-time attorneys with at least three years experience in counseling and advising clients on matters relating to the HR profession. Professional Members have voting rights and may hold office in the Society. By choosing this membership level, you will automatically become a national SHRM member.

Student (current SHRM Member) (Free) Subscription period: 1 year Automatic renewal: no Individuals who are (a) enrolled either as full-time or part-time students, at freshman
standing or higher; (b) enrolled in the equivalent of at least six (6) credit hours; (c)
enrolled in a four-year or graduate institution andlor a consortium of these or a twoyear
community college with a matriculation agreement between it and a four-year
college or university which provides for automatic acceptance of the community
college students into the four-year college or university; (d) able to provide
verification of a demonstrated emphasis in human resource management subjects, and
(e) able to provide verification of the college or university's human resources or
related degree program. Student members may not vote or hold office in the Chapter.

Note: All applicants must submit proof of enrollment in the form of a course schedule or letter from the registrar to join as a student member.

Student (non-SHRM member) ($35.00 (USD)) Subscription period: Unlimited Individuals who are (a) enrolled either as full-time or part-time students, at freshman
standing or higher; (b) enrolled in the equivalent of at least six (6) credit hours; (c)
enrolled in a four-year or graduate institution andlor a consortium of these or a twoyear
